Matthew C. Sheridan, Publisher

Matthew founded Black Point Press in 1997 after working in the housing industry and San Francisco politics for several years. He writes a regular column on demographic trends in the real-estate industry.

A long-time resident of San Francisco, Matthew enjoys many of the charms the city offers, while working towards solutions for the myriad problems facing San Francisco. He served on the San Francisco Civil Grand Jury from 2001-2002 investigating and reporting on local government, and for many years he served as an officer and board member of the Dolphin Swimming and Boating Club. When he isn’t swimming and rowing in the bay, Matthew can be caught down by China Basin watching the San Francisco Giants and spending time with his family.
